Ages 11 & Up
The class primarily takes place in the deepwater featuring real water scenarios and survival skills.
6-60 min lessons
Every year, about 370 children and teens ages 10 to 19 drown. Many of these deaths happen in lakes or rivers, but teens can also drown in a pool
– even teens who have learned how to swim.
This program was designed by Nicole Scherbarth, mother of 4 boys, as a drowning prevention measure for her own kids who were experienced swimmers.
In a recent study by American Red Cross, 80 % of Americans said they could swim, but only 56 % of the self-described swimmers could perform all five of the basic skills that could save their life in the water. Let us help your child be safe out there in the real world. Ages 16 years and up are encouraged to take our Adult lessons.
